Eligible uses of funds include but are not limited to educational activities, medical needs, therapeutic camps, adaptive equipment, and child care. Priority will be given to health and safety issues and those individuals who have not received assistance in the last fiscal year. Eligible proposals benefit people with disabilities living in Lake County.

Grants to Ohio nonprofit organizations for community services that benefit local residents in eligible regions. Applicants must submit a letter of intent form prior to applying. Funding is intended to improve the quality of life for residents by inspiring collective growth, supporting purposeful endowments, and building initiatives for the future in Van Wert County.

Grants to Ohio nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for programs that benefit local residents. Applicants must contact program staff prior to applying. Funding is intended for projects and activities within the focus areas of social services, health, education, environment, religion, arts, and animal welfare. Eligible applicants serve the residents of Columbus.

Grants of up to $3,000 to Canada, USA, and territories nonprofit organizations for projects to protect wildlife and natural habitats. Funding is intended for campaigns to save specific species and ecosystems. Eligible activities include public policy work, litigation, advocacy, and similar endeavors.

Awards of $2,500 and an award of $10,000 to USA, Canada, and International authors to recognize contributions to the field of Jewish literature. The award recipient will be honored for an outstanding work of nonfiction that explores modern Jewish thought and increases awareness of the meeting point of faith and modernity. Eligible themes include, but are not limited to, ethics, Jewish identity, antisemitism, and Jewish history.

Grants of up to $500 and grants of up to $2,500 to Ohio emerging and professional artists for career development opportunities. Funding is intended to assist early-stage and established artists, promote their professional growth, and advance projects that will contribute to the vitality of their communities. This grant is open to artists of all disciplines, at any stage of their career, and includes all types of artistic practice.

Grants to USA and territories health care providers to repay medical education loans. Funding is intended to recruit and retain primary care, oral health care, and behavioral health providers working in health professional shortage areas. Awardees are required to work for two years at an eligible facility in order to receive funding.

Opportunity for USA IHEs, non-federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, utilities, other energy sector partners, software developers, and scientists to improve electric sector systems. Funding is intended for partnerships of utility and energy sector companies with software developers and data experts to facilitate the transformation of digital systems, data analytics, and grid resource integration for the electric sector. The funder intends for the solutions developed under this prize to be shared as examples with the broader energy sector community on how to solve data and/or resource integration challenges.

Grants to Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio nonprofit organizations in eligible areas to benefit local communities. Funding is intended to support programs in the areas of education, community enrichment, environment, and nonprofit capacity support. Requests will be accepted from qualified organizations serving southwestern Pennsylvania (Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, Westmoreland Counties), northeastern Pennsylvania (Bradford, Centre, Clinton, Lycoming, Tioga), northern West Virginia (Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Marshall, Tyler, Wetzel Counties) and eastern Ohio (Belmont County).

Grants of up to $40,000 to USA judicial courts, related court organizations, IHEs, nonprofit organizations, individuals, government agencies, and corporations to develop and enhance curricula to meet the educational needs of their jurisdiction. Courts are invited to submit applications for the adaptation of curricula, or the implementation of training and educational programs.

Grant of up to $10,000 to a USA, Canada, or International registered nurse for collaborative research related to global disparities in healthcare. Eligible research must involve investigators in at least two countries. Funds will be distributed based on the applicant's research budget, the degree of collaboration, and the quality of the proposed research.

Grants to Ohio nonprofit organizations for charitable programs and activities to improve the quality of life for local residents in eligible regions. Applicants must contact program staff prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for projects that address a community need and involve collaboration. Eligible programs benefit the residents of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.

Grants of up to $50,000 to Iowa, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, and Oregon nonprofit organizations and government agencies for projects to benefit residents in eligible communities. Projects must improve the physical, educational, civic, social, and cultural environment in the following communities: Macomb, Illinois; Pella, Carroll, Shenandoah, and Sioux Center, Iowa; Murray, Kentucky; Reidsville, North Carolina; Troy, Ohio; Portland, Oregon; and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Opportunity for USA startup businesses to participate in a program to test or deploy innovative prototypes or services addressing climate change issues in Alaska. Funding is intended to assist early-stage companies seeking to secure initial customers. Companies must demonstrate readiness to engage on the ground in Alaska with community partners and customers, doing the long work of relationship building and responsible deployment.

Grants of up to $11,500 to USA nonprofit organizations to support medical research. In order to apply, applicants must complete an eligibility quiz and set up an online account. While applications are accepted throughout the year, applications must be submitted by the deadline to be reviewed at the annual grant meeting.

Award to a USA small library to recognize outstanding service to the local community. Nominees must demonstrate how they have increased literacy and information access in their communities through creative and replicable solutions. Nominated libraries must serve a population of 25,000 or less.
